The new year brings fresh beginnings for everyone and hopes for a better year!

I myself had begun to work on one of my two resolutions for this year, its always best
for me to keep it real and have one or two resolutions that i can actually accomplish

Today a very cloudy Sunday i started to brainstorm, write, sketch, imagine everything i
intend to reinvent this 2010 and so far it seems fun and i like it!

The road trip, Time off , Great Food, Good company and The relaxing time are only a few things that can describe my Holiday break.

Every time i get some time off i like to have quiet time to myself, listen to loud music with my headphones and read.
Things that sadly i DONT do often.
While i was having my quiet time i reflected on why i am so bothered with current situations and i tried to figure out why i have slowly lost so much interest in making my own crafts, lost drive to even work on my monthly booth.
The main reason why i have lost the drive is due to the lack of appreciation of art in this city.
I love to see talent unfolding in front of my eyes. I am so hungry for creativity taking effect on people. I would love to see TRUE talent get the recognition it deserves.

Yesterday i was talking with one of my good friends and he mentioned his sister like he usually does. Its no surprise he admires her and her work so much because today as i was looking through some blogs i stumbled upon her own.



For those who don't know this are hand made headbands by www.ilovefactorybk.com who have now made it into popular magazines and Tv shows like gossip girl and Teen Vogue.

Laurel St. Romain a girl raised in the valley with a great talent has been able to make it far. Currently in NYC has managed to make heads turn all over the country with her unique hand made goods.

Now this is something to admire, today with all my lack of drive to pursue a dream i stumble upon a dream come true!

as i was reading my monthly online magazine
i found some awesome facts about one of the greatest horror movie
producers in mexico for some reason i have always been fascinated
by Cine Mexicano in every way, comedy, horror etc
im not a big fan of horror films but there is always
something about old horror films that attracts me and i've
noticed that is the art. The old horror movies are more artistic
and more ingenious than just new horror movies. Everything gets worst
in our modern movies everyday. There's no suspense only horrible scenes
i think that is why reading about Rafael Baledon just made me realize
that is not that im terrified of horror movies is just that i'm terrified
of how much blood and pointless torture i will see and less story and suspense.
